Problem: LEI based in Canada have major clients who were looking for carbon reporting based on their global shipping data, LEI had all the shipping data in their system but no active structure to report carbon on shipment shipped by different transport modes.

Solution: PSA in partnership with LEI research all the transport carbon calculations that have been agreed as the industry standard, we implemented the calculation into PowerBI and developed API to gather location GPS coordinate of each shipment Origin and Destination to capture the distance for which the carbon calculation was based on. The dashboard design had visual to represent the shipped volume of goods vs the carbon per tonne emissions,

Outcome: LEI is now able to provide an online tool for the client to report their international shipping emissions,
